Icthus Stories from Colombia

My name is Jesús.  I´m 14 and go to a church in Carmen de Bolívar. I´ve been a member of Legionnaires for 3 years now, it is a very educational program because I learned to know Jesus, they have taught me which resources I have to wear to defend myself from the enemy and his schemes. I also learned handcrafts, to share with kids my own age, and to love my neighbor. I thank God because I helped other kids to come to the program and so they can walk with Jesus, our best friend and Savior.

I want to thank God for the opportunity of attending the national ICFI Icthus guides' training.  It was a huge blessing for my life and I know it will continue during my years of working with kids. I know we will be able to serve them in a good way with the help of Jesus Christ.

I see that kids have the need of being well instructed about sex, especially nowadays where the concept has been corrupted and perverted. God has given me the privilege of being a guide to instruct these kids who are the new generation that will rise to proclaim Christ and rescue those who don´t know His Word yet.

I am very happy to belong to Icthus.  The Lord is allowing us to grow and get trained to serve the kids in a better way in our ministry.  Thank you also to the people who donated so we could be able to attend this activity. Blessings
