Thanksgiving season reminds us to be more thankful to God, family & friends. You are among those in my life that I am thankful for.
I appreciate you and how the Lord has equipped and motivated you to bless Icthus children. Because of Amigos like you, Latin American children are receiving life changing guidance in the midst of Covid-19. In addition, many impoverished families have received compassionate aid of food.

You Brought Joy to Icthus Kids and Families
Over the past months, Icthus amigos like you helped hundreds of children and families with emergency aid due to COVID19.
One was Diego (13) who lives in the village of La Chamarra, Colombia. Manuel, his father, lost his job in a band as a Trombonist due to the lockdown; they are very poor. Like many in Latin America, they struggle to get food and necessities. You helped provide compassionate aid and Icthus ministry to Diego and his family.

Note: Your support helps provide training for new guides to start more Icthus groups. The pandemic has required us to develop ways to do this virtually utilizing Zoom. But technology requires electricity and the internet. What do we do when the electricity goes off frequently?
Below, Luis Yon shares his experience in training guides in Venezuela.
In Venezuela, churches go the extra mile for their children:

Last week, I had the opportunity to participate in the Icthus Ministry training for new churches in Cartanal, Venezuela.
The Internet and electricity are a luxury there. We had to reschedule the training a couple of times because the government has imposed energy service shortages. Despite the difficulties, leaders from 6 churches attended and received training and are preparing to start.
There is a big need in Venezuela. I was impressed with the guides. Their passion for their children was obvious. Your support of Icthus kids is bringing ministry to places like the villages in Venezuela, that desperately need it.
You Helped Bring Aid to Hundreds of Families
Icthus kids Xiomara (15) , Javier (13), and Daniel (7) received tangible proof of God’s love for them. They live in an extremely poor community near San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Their family has been suffering because of the pandemic.
Their parents don’t show interest in going to church but the Gospel came to their family through the children, thanks to Icthus amigos like you!
Icthus kids Joshua (13) and Kelvin (10), also from Honduras, have had a rough life immersed in scarcity. God’s love for them is difficult to grasp given their suffering as little children.
The Compassionate Food Aid that you helped provide helps them know that God deeply cares for them.
To encourage them their guides frequently talk with them about Jesus and His endless love. Joshua wants to be a police officer and Kelvin a doctor.
They love participating in the Icthus meetings each week on Zoom. What a good opportunity to encourage and share the Gospel with these kids.

MORE FAMILIES NEED YOUR HELP THIS MONTH
In the last 3 months deaths have doubled in Latin America due to Covid-19. Latin America has reached a shocking 400,000 deaths due to the pandemic. All families and children in Latin America are struggling with the pandemic. Impoverished families struggle most. The hurricane that just hit Central America has made it worse.
Your ongoing help is needed to provide compassionate aid to the most impoverished Icthus kids and their families. Your help is also needed to provide the “Icthus in Casa” program to more children. The stories in this newsletter bear witness to how much your gifts help.
We’ve identified 250 Icthus families that need aid this month. Would you help provide food, other essentials, and learning kits for one child and his/her family? Your help will also provide “Icthus in Casa” ministry to kids throughout Latin America.
For example, $50 will help provide food to a family and
ministry to children.
As we approach Thanksgiving share the blessings the Lord has provided you by giving aid to families and ministry to children.
PRAYER NEEDS
1. Pray for those who were in the path of Hurricane Eta that inundated Central America. The hurricane left a path of destruction that will take months if not years to recover from.
2. Pray for the protection of Icthus leaders throughout Latin America who are making great efforts to guide children.
3. Pray for the families of Icthus Amigos here in the US and in Latin America who have suffered from Covid-19.
MORE HELP NEEDED
Your gift of $50 will help provide compassionate aid to a poor family of an Icthus child. Your gift will also provide ministry to that child and others to help them grow and to equip them for Christian service and leadership.
