BECAUSE HE LIVES

I am thankful for the Icthus family.  Beautiful people who love God and help others selflessly.  You, dear Icthus Amigo, are one of them.  Without your help, these stories of transformed children wouldn’t exist. 

You are very important for Icthus kids in Latin America.  As I face some trials myself, I need to keep reminding myself what I learned in church growing up… “Because He Lives, I can face tomorrow.”

              During worship, I would notice how my dad sang that song, sometimes with tears in his eyes.  As a kid, that wasn’t very clear; Today, I completely understand how meaningful those words are.  

              Children and their families in Latin America struggling with natural disasters, poverty, crime, and many other challenges need to know that Jesus lives. With Him, they can face tomorrow.

              Thanks to Icthus amigos like you, who generously give.  Children in Icthus are learning the important message that they can face tomorrow.  Not only that, they are learning that their lives can change.  And that they can become leaders that help others to change their lives.

              This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for Jesus, who is alive and helps me face tomorrow.  And I’m thankful for YOU because you are helping others learn that message.  YOU ARE CHANGING LIVES!
