YOUR KINDNESS REACHED EL SILENCIO, COLOMBIA

Yerlani (11) dreams of becoming a teacher. And Carlos(5), loves cooking and wants to become a chef and own a restaurant.  They live with their mom, Katalina, in the town of El Silencio, Colombia.  They are an Icthus family.

Sadly, the kids’ father left long ago.  Their mom worked in a nail salon but lost her job due to the pandemic.  Now, she's working in other people's homes.   Without a COVID vaccine, she risks her health by doing that.  She’s trying to figure out what else to do.  Money is very tight, and they need food. 

Thanks to the compassionate gifts of Icthus amigos like you, Katalina’s family received food aid.  The kids got Icthus en Casa learning kits to continue their Icthus program at home.
