I lost my fear of sharing about Jesus

Celina is an 18-year-old Icthus kid from Honduras who experienced a character transformation that only God can make.
Here is her testimony:
“I came to Icthus when I was about 9 years old. I did not want to go back because I was very timid. It was too hard for me to make friends. But an Icthus Guide kept inviting me and convinced my mom to bring me back.
During an Icthus camp, I made the best decision of my life: I gave my life to Christ, my Savior. I have experienced the Lord’s strength through grief, pain, and anguish. His love is visible in my life.
In Icthus, I have met incredible people who have left a mark on me. I consider each member of Icthus as my own family. They support me with prayers, advice, and guidance.”
“Shyness is no longer part of my life, and little by little, I learned to tell others about Jesus without fear. ”
Thanks to Icthus Amigos, Celina, from Honduras, overcame shyness. Someday she wants to be a medic.
The Essence of Icthus

As a child, I was amazed by Jesus’ parable about how the tiny mustard seed could grow so big. Today the mustard seed reminds me of the enormous potential children have. As they are guided and grow, God works through them to become a blessing to their families, neighborhoods, and countries.
Through Icthus, you help plant the “mustard seed” of God’s love in children’s lives. You provide them with positive opportunities to learn. God multiplies the help you give to children to develop Christian character that becomes blessings that extend the Kingdom of God. We hope you’ll continue to help plant the mustard seed of God’s love in children’s lives through Icthus.
