House Fiestas
We are
preparing for a series of simultaneous house
parties (fiestas) across the U.S. in the Fall.
This event will make it easy for those who want
to do something fun to share Icthus with others
and as a result extend help to more children. (Read story ...)

June is the time when we think
about vacations and camps for children. Most
children in Latin America have never been to
camp – a big reason is poverty and their
churches and communities probably can't offer
this option.

give me the campership, because that is how I
was able to go to the camp in December. I live
with my grandma, an aunt and four cousins and
without the campership it would have been
impossible for me to attend.”

In early May, eighty women came
for a women’s luncheon at La Canada Presbyterian
Church in California. They viewed the new Icthus
film, “And a Child Shall Lead Them”. Susanna
Velasquez and Alexa Gardner, two actors,
attended and shared their experience in making

A few months
ago, Gary and Susan Bauer of Texas asked if we
are still collecting cartridges and cell phones.
We plan to keep doing this as long as people
want to help Icthus through recycling. Last week
Gary and Susan told us they had good results
doing this project at their church .
Thank you to Gary & Susan Bauer and others who
are doing this project in churches & Sunday
schools.
